This policy describes the ShopFetch website, purchase and support workflow.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, selected subject and message. These inquiries are stored privately in our WordPress support inbox and may also be emailed to our support address. Do not include sensitive account credentials or payment-card details.
Purchases through Gumroad
Purchases are processed through Gumroad. Gumroad handles the payment details and receipt under its own privacy terms. We may access the order and customer information made available to us to provide purchase support, downloads, installation help and refunds.
How we use information
- To answer product and technical questions.
- To help with orders, installation and refunds.
- To protect the contact form from spam and abuse.
- To provide necessary product-related support.
Security and service providers
The website hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the site and deliver messages. The contact form uses a short-lived, keyed hash derived from the request IP address for rate limiting; the form does not save that IP address in the support inquiry. Hosting providers may maintain their own server logs.
Cookies and analytics
The website may use cookies required for WordPress sessions and site functionality. The ShopFetch theme and Core plugin do not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Gumroad operates its own checkout, cookies and privacy controls on its domain.
Extension data
ShopFetch works with publicly accessible Shopify product data. This website policy does not describe every technical permission or data flow of the extension. Refer to the privacy information distributed with your installed extension version, or contact us before installation if you need clarification.
Retention and requests
We retain support and purchase-related information for as long as needed to handle the request and any applicable record-keeping requirements. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have provided. Some purchase records may be managed by Gumroad.
